Welcome to Turkish Tale, a one-woman Turkish restaurant where you can find the rich and diverse flavors of Turkish cuisine. My name is Hale. I am the author of De bijbel van de Turkse keuken and both the owner and chef of this cozy restaurant.
I was born in Kuwait and raised in Turkey, where I was surrounded by a rich culinary culture that taught me to appreciate the importance of fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and warm hospitality. After moving to Eindhoven, I realized that there were almost no places where people could truly experience authentic homemade Turkish food. In order to show that Turkish cuisine has much more to offer than just kebabs, I decided to start Turkish Tale as a small take away business that turned into a restaurant in the heart of Eindhoven.
From the mountains of Eastern Turkey to the coasts of the Aegean, I'm determined to take you on a culinary adventure. You can enjoy all of my freshly made dishes at the restaurant, create a custom menu for a corporate or private event or join my cooking workshops to explore the flavors of Turkey and learn more about its culinary traditions.
